Catching Up
After looking at the date of my last entry, I guess I have some catching up to do. I am thinking that writing this blog is a little like trying to keep up with exercise; the longer a time that elapses, the harder it is to get back to it.We've had a couple more snowfalls, one a week ago Thursday, so we did not go to our Bible study. It was not a big snowfall but just enough to make things slick. On Saturday I had Altar Guild set up in the morning and then went to a craft show. Once again did not buy anything, but I like to look. In the evening we had a Christmas party (one of the Corvette clubs) to attend. Dinner and they had a band. Had a pretty good time and did not stay real late but was still tired on Sunday. We dog sat again for friends of ours for a week. The wife's father passed away and they had to go to North Dakota for funeral and then to Minnesota where the parents were currently living. They got back on Wednesday and picked up the dogs yesterday. On Monday night we got a substantial snowfall. At least 10 inches. Dennis had gone up to this mountain town on Monday to work on a guy's car and then stayed with another friend up that way on Monday night. He was supposed to go on Tuesday but was afraid that if he had waited until Tuesday he would not have been able to go, which is probably true. Where he was at they only got about 3 inches. It took me a long time to get the driveway cleared. I had to use the big snow blower and it really wore me out. It has warmed up quite a bit since and most of the snow has melted, particularly on the south side. I guess it is supposed to get pretty cold here again on Sunday (high only in the 20's and maybe colder) and it's supposed to stay that way for three days. There's a possibility that we may get more snow but probably not as much as the last one.
Tomorrow night one of the neighbors is having a Christmas party. Nice to just be able to walk over. On Sunday there is a choir Christmas concert at church. It's mid-afternoon so that means two trips down the hill. I still need to work on getting cards done and a little baking. I did go to a cookie walk also last Saturday up at the Catholic church in Conifer. I didn't get there until mid afternoon so the selection wasn't as good, so I didn't buy all that many--and they are almost gone.
Now that I've caught up on this, it's time to get on the treadmill. Fun! Fun!

I know what you mean about not keeping the blog up to date. I have not updated ours in quite a while. And it’s been even longer since I have exercised. Guess maybe I should get back to both.

Keep the snow out there. I would think that North Dkota would not be the place to go this time of year. Is that where they orginaly were from. We went to a cookie walk last Sat. Good selection left when we got there. We did not go till about 11:oo Later Ron and Thelma
